Solo Show          The Fragments

New Art Project is excited to announce the opening of the exhibition "The Fragments," a solo show by artist Yumi Bancon. The opening will be from March 29 to April 24, 2024, and will be accessible through our Instagram page and website. "The Fragments" represents a step beyond the traditional concept of an exhibition, offering an immersive experience that leads participants on a journey of deep human introspection and emotional connection.

Yumi Bancon, an artist of Japanese origin, has developed a mixed composition technique characterized by the meticulous assembly of fragments that culminates in the realization of the final work. This artistic approach generates compositions that explore the fragmented nature of memory and identity, transforming each piece into a visual dialogue centered on the universal themes of loss, hope, and rebirth.

The artist has matured her artistic experience in France, where she refined her art and where her creative journey began. After a significant period in Paris, Yumi Bancon returned to Tokyo, where she continued her collaboration with galleries and private exhibition spaces. In this context, she continued to create increasingly elaborate works, in which each element tells a story imbued with significant details.
