In 2020 I moved from Munich, Germany to Slovenia. I retreated from the big city to nature, which
is the central source of my artistic inspiration.
I am a conceptual painter who found her way of expression in the combination of abstract painting
and textile art.
I explore the mysteries of nature in the context of modern times, while playfully and intuitively
translating its rules into the language of simple mathematics, chemistry and physics.
I mostly use natural matrials in my work, but I recycle also existing ones, reinterpret them to the
extreme limits of the pictorial field.
In terms of content, I address pressing topics of modern times, which are not my exclusive motiv.
I focus on various issues, such as the concept of time and human memory, and especially its
response to repetitive processes in time, as understood by modern science.
In my work, I put the freedom of feeling and seeing in the foreground, which leads me to the world
of painterly abstraction.
